    We bring you the exclusive update from what is being touted as one of the biggest films in recent times, ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’, which is all set to kickstart its shooting from 6th July. The film is being directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, with rumours suggesting that it is being made on a massive budget of Rs. 600 crore.

    The movie is said to be a sci-fi action thriller and Vicky Kaushal’s role in the lead role is uncertain. The storyline is inspired by the character of Ashwatthama from the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The film will follow Ashwatthama’s journey as he seeks redemption and immortality.

    The film was supposed to start shooting earlier, but it got delayed multiple times due to various reasons, including the COVID-19 pandemic and budget issues. However, Jio Studios came on board at one point, but it’s now back to Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP. The team is now all set to start shooting with a 65-day schedule in Kazakhstan, followed by a 26-day schedule in Dubai.
